A BIT ABOUT NICHOLAS D'URBANO

The Full Story

So, who am I?

I am a born and raised Melburnian who in the past few years have been able to pave my way into the journalism industry. My journey has never been straight-forward and has taken many twists and turns to get to where I am today. However, it has all been worth it.

I have experience in all three facets of the media industry - print, radio and television where I have been able to hone my craft over the better part of two years.

I was an Editorial Assistant at the Herald Sun, along with hosting an AFL talk show called 'The Rushed Behind' and have spent time at SEN as host of The Overnight Crowd.

Through my work at The Rushed Behind, we were nominated for two Antenna Awards which were Best Youth Program and Best Sports Program while I was fortunate enough to win Youth Personality of the Year.

I also work at FNR Football Nation Radio and have so for over two years, hosting and producing many of their shows which went to air every week.

Throughout my work, I have also ran numerous social media accounts for the organisations I worked for including the Herald Sun and Football Nation Radio. In this role, I was able to come up with strategies to boost engagement and hit specific target audiences in order to hit specific metrics.
